Product Description
Hydro-electric ball valve is mainly suitable for medium containing
silt water, temperature -28~80℃ hydropower
station when the water pipe as the opening and closing device, can
only be fully open, fully closed, can not be
adjusted with small flow resistance.
The piston water stop ring structure with double sealing rings is
adopted, and the upstream maintenance seal
and the downstream working seal are divided. Sealing rings are
arranged on both the upstream and downstream
sealing positions of the annular valve core, and the piston stop
ring is pushed and pressed by the hydraulic
system to realize the sealing. When the ball valve is closed
normally, the downstream working seal is closed and
the water is stopped smoothly, and when the downstream working seal
is overhauled or replaced, the upstream
inspection seal is closed and locked by the mechanical locking
device.
On the upstream and downstream sealing rings of the ball valve,
position travel switches are respectively set.
After connecting to the central control room through the circuit,
the state of the sealing ring can be accurately
understood, so that the relay switch valve can be accurately
operated.
The upstream of the hydraulic ball valve (main valve) is welded
with the water inlet pipe through the short pipe
in front of the valve, and the downstream is connected to the
volute of the turbine through the expansion joint,
so as to facilitate the installation and maintenance of the
hydraulic ball valve (main valve) and the adjustment
of the expansion joint.
The hydraulic ball valve (main valve) is provided with a bypass
production pipeline, the purpose of which is to
balance the pressure at the upstream and downstream ends of the
valve before opening the main valve, and
reduce the opening and closing torque of the main valve. The bypass
valve is a hydraulic ball valve, and a
manual valve is set in front of the hydraulic ball valve for
overhauling the bypass hydraulic ball valve.

Soft Seal Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve
If fluid medium is clean water without sediment and silica sand
etc, it is good choice to use soft material seal
fixed ball valve which will ensure no leak after closure fluid so
that properly safety for the downstream unit overhaul.
Metal to metal Seal Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve
If water in the hydropower station with high content sediment and
silica sand , it is better to choose metal to metal
seal fixed ball valve for prolong unit life time.metal to metal
